m o u s e t r a p r e p l i c a are an experimental/visual/rock group led by Ryan on guitar, guitar synth, and laptop, and spaceship, Gareth on drumkit and percussion, Murray on Bass, with Alice or Nella who paint live onstage.

The band have performed over 60 shows around Melbourne, gaining an ever increasing following through their unique, intense, beautiful and virtuosic live shows.
They have successfully toured the east coast of australia in march 2008, and played throughout South Australia in March 2007 for the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
The have two improvised albums, "Fragments" (2007) and "...we all fall down" (2007), and a CD-R series entitled "Frozen Moments" (2006-2007). 2008 will see the release of a live improvised collaboration with young Sydney experimentalist Scissor Lock, and will see the release of an album featuring the current composed mousetrapreplica set, featuring new member Gareth Thomson.


They have recieved airplay on Melbourne's PBS 106.7FM, RRR FM 102.7, 3CR 855AM, Sydney's 'Sideways through Sound,' Cumberland Community Radio, Alaska Airwaves(USA), and many more international radio stations.

mousetrapreplica performances lead the audience through a maze of entranced joy, stark beauty, brutal barrages, quirky humour, dark subtlety, exquisite ambience; a journey which everybody leaves feeling that little bit better.
